At a glance

Ara was created in 2016 when education providers CPIT and Aoraki Polytechnic combined, bringing together two well-established organisations and over 200 years of combined experience and success. We are a government owned institution with a reputation for providing high quality degree, diploma, certificate and English language programmes. Our programmes are all New Zealand Qualifications Authority quality assured and our degrees are equal in status to university degrees. Our students graduate with work-ready professional skills.

For over 20 years, international students have studied at TAFE Western Australia institutes to gain a career head start and to experience the amazing sun-kissed lifestyle of Western Australia.

TAFE stands for Technical and Further Education, and is a network of government owned higher education institutes located across Perth and Western Australia that focus on teaching students valuable skills and practical knowledge.

TAFE Western Australia has over 100,000 students, including more than 3,000 international students from all over the world.

William Angliss Institute has devoted the last 75 years to inspiring students and providing specialist education and training in foods, tourism and hospitality. These are exciting vocations that have no borders and attract creative, enthusiastic students from all over the world. The Institute enrols over 21,500 students each year, a total made up of local and international students on campus and industry-based students. There are currently more than 1,500 international students enrolled at William Angliss’s Melbourne campus.
