Certificate in Superyacht Crewing at NMIT (NZ)

The Certificate in Superyacht Crewing course at NMIT (Nelson Marlborough Institute of Technology) is an excellent course for those interested in working in the global industry of superyachting.  During the programme students train in real-life environments and qualify to work as an entry-level crew member on super yachts around the world.
 
NMIT’s graduates have gone on to work on luxury superyachts in the Mediterranean, Caribbean and Pacific. Superyacht crewing is a great way to see the world!
 
The programme includes a three-day motor yacht and five-day sailing yacht trip as well as a three-day powerboat training course.
 
Students also receive training in STCW Basic Training, RYA Powerboat Level 2, RYA Competent Crew, Navigation, Radio, Radar and a range of other qualifications. Hospitality training and skills on how to get an interview and secure a job in this exciting maritime industry also included.
