The North Melbourne Institute of TAFE (NMIT) has recently won the 2014 award for Excellence in International Education – TAFE, within the state of Victoria.

The award is presented each year to the Victorian TAFE provider that has demonstrated outstanding achievement in it's delivery of TAFE courses to international students.

NMIT’s Executive Director, International, Dino Bettiol said "It's a testament to our commitment to providing a high quality outcome for our students, we consider this a great honour in light of the strong competition in Victoria's highly regarded international education sector".

The NMIT International programmes have been running for nearly twenty years, attracting students from all over the world.  Two of the college’s current international students were also finalists for awards in the International Student of the Year categories at the event.

NMIT offers a full range of vocational programmes to international students including Australia's only Diploma in Locksmithing and Security Engineering, which you can find out more about here.
