We love to hear from our students once they have arrived in Australia or New Zealand, especially when they have good news!  We are pleased to announce that one of our students, who went to study at the Challenger Institute in Western Australia (TAFE WA), has just graduated and won the award for International Student of the Year.

Faye Hooper studied a Diploma of Environmental Monitoring and Technology at TAFE WA – read her student story here.

The college described Faye as an extremely enthusiastic and dedicated student, she has also been an international student mentor at the Challenger Institute.  Alongside her studies, Faye has been volunteering with the Native Arc Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, the Peel Preservation Group and is a River Guardian and Dolphin Watcher for the Swan River Trust.

Faye plans on completing a Bachelor Degree and hopes to raise awareness of the issues affecting our natural environment.  Congratulations Faye!
