Western Australia’s economy goes from strength to strength

Australia’s largest state has currently also got the country’s strongest economy.  The recent mining boom has brought significant amounts of economic growth and people into the state, which in turn will encourage further investment in the future.  When it comes to college study this is great news - vocational courses benefit from close association with industry, so you will benefit increased opportunities to gain work experience in your area of study.

Christmas is coming...

...and Study Options will be open until 4pm on Friday 20th December. Our offices in London and Bristol will then be closed for Christmas and New Year for just over a week, and we'll all be back on Thursday 2nd January.

Apply to college for Semester 1 2014

There's still plenty of time to apply to Australian and New Zealand colleges for semester 1 (February) 2014

The next academic year in Australia and New Zealand will begin in February 2014 (the Southern Hemisphere has a different academic calendar to the Northern Hemisphere).

This means that there is still plenty of time to apply.  We are able to accept college applications for a February start right up until the 10th January 2014, so if your New Year's resolution is a change of career, or moving to another country, then it's not too late to start planning now!

Over 100 scholarships available at TAFE NSW Institutes

TAFE New South Wales have recently announced over 100 scholarships to offer to international students starting their study in 2014.  Each scholarship contributes $2,000 towards the tuition fees of your Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Associate Degree or a Bachelor Degree studied at a TAFE NSW institute.

The scholarships will be awarded to students who have demonstrated academic merit and other achievements; and who have already received an offer of a place on any course of 1.5 years duration or longer.  The deadlines for application are as follows:

Welcome to Study Options' new website for vocational study in Australia and New Zealand. Study Options has been working with universities in Australia and New Zealand for 8 years, but did you know that we have also been sending students to colleges in both countries for nearly as long?  We felt it was finally time for the colleges website to get a bit of a revamp and to provide our students with a whole lot more information about vocational courses in Australia and New Zealand.
