Patricio Banados-Valenzuela

Patricio Banados-Valenzuela is from Chile and is studying Diploma of Fashion Design at TAFE SA

"I first heard about Adelaide from the internet, and learned that it was a good place for study with very nice people. I wanted to improve my English so I studied for three years at the SA Adelaide Language Centre. At the language centre we were given lots of information about all of the Adelaide universities and institutions, and everybody said that TAFE SA was a very good place to study. I can now say that is true. The Fashion Design course is very practical, but we also do theory as well of course.

Sailing Chen

Sailing Chen is from China and studied the Diploma of Interior Design at TAFE SA

"In China, interior design courses focus on how to construct buildings quickly. The growth in construction for both commercial and residential properties is driving this need to construct quickly.

"The TAFE SA course opened my eyes to the importance of creating buildings that consume less energy from the environment. Before I started the course I had never heard that buildings could be built to consume less energy and why that was important.

Daniela Roethlin

Daniela, 24, is from Switzerland and studied Interior Design

Hi. My name is Daniela and I'm from Switzerland. I have had the great opportunity to study Interior Design at NMIT Preston.

I absolutely love it. The teachers are great; very helpful and understanding. We have interesting projects and get challenged at school every day. I have made good friendships during my study. NMIT offers a huge range of courses and opportunities.

I like Preston campus because all of the staff are very friendly, the library has long opening hours, you can make use of many facilities and I have to mention the coffee you get in the canteen is awesome.
