TAFE International Western Australia regional campuses
Western Australia is Australia’s largest state and covers the entire Western third of the country. So, if you want to live and study in Western Australia, your choices are not restricted to Perth!
Studying outside of a big city can provide students with a unique opportunity to experience life in a close community while earning a qualification that will provide excellent future career options.
TAFE Western Australia has seven regional campuses all around the state offering courses open to international students. The campuses are divided up by area:
Nathanial’s Story
Surfing before class and having the experience of a lifetime, it's all part of studying in amazing Western Australia
“My experience was exciting and I can see how much I have evolved as a person. I had an awesome time”
Nathanial wanted to become a Chef, but he also wanted to see the world, so he grabbed the best of both worlds and enrolled in the renowned Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery at TAFE Western Australia.
Myles Carr
Studied Bachelor of Business (Hotel & Resort Management) at Le Cordon Bleu
A graduate of the class of ’07, Myles Carr is now Franchise Operations Manager – NSW for AccorHotels, looking after 26 hotels across the region. He says his degree provided him with the foundation skills to feel confident to put up his hand up for the position.
“If someone had told me that eight years after graduating I would have worked in six or seven hotels, with each position different and better than the previous, I would never have believed them,” says Myles.
Varun
Studied hospitality at TasTAFE
“Studying in Tasmania is one of the best decisions I have made. My teachers inspired and encouraged me, which gave me confidence. Since graduating from TasTAFE, I have worked in managerial roles in high end luxury hotels across Australia. Wherever I have been employed, I have been promoted very quickly. I love what I do”.
Steve Yoon
Steve is from South Korea and studied the Diploma of Hospitality at QTHC
“I enjoy customer service and studied tourism and business management back in South Korea. I chose commercial cookery because I wanted to get the skills in the hospitality industry.
My trainer Michaela respects all of the students’ opinions. She always provide us with useful information and she makes the mood of class excitingly, which is great.
Satinder Singh
Satinder came from India to study the Advanced Diploma of Hospitality at QTHC
“I came from India to complete my hospitality and commercial cookery qualification in Australia. I learnt the fundamentals of cooking all the way up to managing a hospitality venue. Seeing all the different aspects of a hospitality operation has made me appreciate the industry and it has helped me realise that hospitality is the perfect career.
